Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Telouet Kasbah – Ait Benhaddou – Zagora

Your journey begins with an early pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech around 7:30 AM. Head south toward the High Atlas Mountains, taking in breathtaking scenery and traditional Berber villages as you ascend the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260 meters). Your first cultural stop is the Kasbah of Telouet, once the luxurious home of the powerful Glaoui family. Though partially in ruins, it still reveals the opulence of its past. Continue to the legendary Ksar Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and filming location for many iconic movies like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. After lunch near the kasbah, head south through the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the scenic Draa Valley, lined with date palms and kasbahs. Arrive in Zagora for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Zagora – Nkob – Alnif – Rissani – Merzouga

After breakfast, travel east through the charming town of Nkob, famous for its kasbahs. Pass through Alnif and arrive in Rissani, an ancient trading hub once important in trans-Saharan commerce. Reach Merzouga by late afternoon, where you’ll be welcomed at your hotel near the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and relax with a walk in the quiet desert night before sleeping at your comfortable riad or hotel.
Day 3: Merzouga – Desert Exploration & Camel Ride

After breakfast, explore the Sahara region. Visit Khamlia Village to experience the vibrant rhythms of Gnawa music and meet the locals. Discover the old desert irrigation method known as Khettaras, then meet nomadic families and learn about their traditions. In the afternoon, ride a camel through the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset. Arrive at a luxury desert camp for dinner, Berber music, and an unforgettable night under the stars.
Day 4: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and a quick refresh at the hotel, depart toward Erfoud, known for its fossil treasures and date production. Then visit the dramatic Todra Gorge, where limestone cliffs soar up to 200 meters. Enjoy a short walk and lunch here before heading to the scenic Dades Valley for your overnight stay.
Day 5: Dades Valley – Valley of Roses – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, continue toward Marrakech via the beautiful Valley of Roses. Stop by a local cooperative to learn how rosewater and other natural products are made. Pass through the palm groves of Skoura and visit Ouarzazate, home of the Atlas Film Studios. After crossing the High Atlas Mountains once more via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon. End of the tour.
