Welcome to Morocco! Your 7-day tour from Marrakech begins with a warm greeting from your driver-guide at Marrakech Airport. You will then be transferred to your accommodation, where you can relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
After breakfast, meet your local guide for a walking tour of Marrakech, a historic city that flourished during medieval times as a center of commerce and culture. Explore the city’s well-preserved medieval walls and visit the bustling Jemaa el-Fna Square, a UNESCO-recognized oral heritage site known for its vibrant atmosphere. Your guided tour includes visits to Bahia Palace, Badii Palace, the Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, Majorelle Garden, and the souks, where you can experience Marrakech’s rich craftsmanship. Overnight stay at your accommodation in Marrakech.
After breakfast, we will depart for the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a stunning example of traditional Moroccan architecture and a famous filming location for many international movies. Next, we continue to Ouarzazate, home to Morocco’s film studios, before heading to Skoura to explore the historic Kasbah Amridil. Our journey continues to Kalaat M’Gouna, renowned for its rose fields and rose-based products. Driving along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, we visit Boutaghrar before reaching Dades Valley, where we will spend the night in a comfortable hotel.
After breakfast, we continue to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of Morocco.” Enjoy a scenic walk between the towering cliffs. We then head to Tinjdad for lunch, and afterward, we continue to Erfoud, known as the fossil capital of Morocco. Here, you can explore fossil workshops and exhibitions. Finally, we arrive in Merzouga, where you'll check into a luxurious hotel at the foot of the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes, ready for a memorable night in the desert.
After breakfast, we start the day with a visit to the Rissani Souk, an ancient trading hub preserving centuries-old traditions. Next, we head to Khamlia Village, where you’ll enjoy the spiritual rhythms of traditional Gnawa music performed by local musicians. You’ll also get the chance to try the famous Medfouna (Berber pizza), a delicious local specialty. In the afternoon, we return to Merzouga to prepare for an unforgettable camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Spend the night in a nomadic desert camp, enjoying live music, traditional cuisine, and a starlit sky.
Rise early to witness the spectacular desert sunrise, then return to the hotel by camel for breakfast and a refreshing shower. Our route takes us through Alnif, Tazarine Oasis, and N’Kob, passing through the scenic Draa Valley, known for its endless date palm groves and Berber villages. We also pass the Anti-Atlas Mountains before arriving in Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Overnight stay in a local hotel.
After breakfast, we’ll visit the Ouarzazate film studios, then continue our journey back to Marrakech via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 meters) through the High Atlas Mountains.
