Itinerary

  • Day 1: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

    Start your journey from Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa," and drive to the iconic Ksar Ait Ben Haddou. This fortified village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is famous for its clay architecture and its role in many international films. After exploring its labyrinthine alleys, continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through the striking Dades Valley. Enjoy panoramic views and Berber villages before spending the night in a cozy guesthouse nestled in the Dades Gorges.

  • Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

    After breakfast, set out towards the majestic Todra Gorges, where towering limestone cliffs create a natural canyon perfect for walking and photography. Later, head to the desert gateway of Merzouga, located at the edge of the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. Hop on a camel and trek into the dunes to watch a spectacular desert sunset. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp, enjoying traditional Moroccan food and stargazing around the campfire.

  • Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt

    Wake up early to catch the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, ride your camel back to Merzouga and begin the journey north. Pass through the lush and dramatic Ziz Valley, dotted with palm groves and mud-brick villages. Continue your scenic drive through the Eastern High Atlas Mountains to reach Midelt, a quiet town nestled between the Middle and High Atlas ranges. Overnight in a charming hotel or riad.

  • Day 4: Midelt – Ifrane – Fes

    On your final day, travel through the forested slopes of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Visit the town of Ifrane, often called the “Little Switzerland” of Morocco for its alpine-style architecture and clean streets. Enjoy the cool mountain air and cedar forests before continuing to the spiritual and cultural capital of Fes. Your 4-day Morocco desert tour concludes with a drop-off at your accommodation in Fes.
