After lunch near Ait Benhaddou, continue toward the beautiful Dades Valley, passing through Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Here, you may choose to stop and explore the renowned Atlas Film Studios before heading to your accommodation for the night in the heart of the valley.
Following breakfast, travel towards the Sahara, stopping to admire the dramatic Todra Gorge, where towering limestone cliffs offer a stunning setting for walking and photography. This natural wonder attracts climbers and nature lovers from across the globe.
Continue through Erfoud, a town famous for its fossils and bustling date market. Once in Merzouga, meet your camel caravan for a scenic ride across the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi just in time to watch the sun dip below the horizon. Upon arrival at your desert camp, enjoy a warm welcome with traditional mint tea and Moroccan pastries.
Savor a delicious dinner under the stars or in a cozy dining tent, followed by traditional Berber music played by local drummers. Spend the night in a comfortable en-suite tent in the heart of the Sahara.
