Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

    Start your 3-day desert tour from Errachidia to Fes with a warm welcome at Moulay Ali Cherif Airport or pickup from your accommodation in Errachidia. Journey through the scenic Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves and panoramic viewpoints—perfect for photos. Pass through Erfoud, a town famous for fossils, and head toward the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Here, a camel trek will lead you to your desert camp, where you'll enjoy a magical night under the stars and experience Berber hospitality.

  • Day 2: Discover Merzouga and the Sahara Lifestyle

    After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga and begin a full-day exploration of the Sahara by 4x4 vehicle. Visit nomadic families near the Algerian border and explore the unique culture of the Khamlia village, home to descendants of former sub-Saharan slaves. Enjoy a live performance of traditional Gnawa music and gain insight into desert life. Spend the night in a cozy hotel in Merzouga.

  • Day 3: Merzouga – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
